Our challenge for our February 8th meeting is to try the next  structure in the book - One Sheet Folds #21 Fishbone Fold from Hedi Kyle's "Art Of The Fold" book.

I love the look of this fold. I remember seeing it many years ago but not having any instructions - sigh, so it slipped my mind...

I thought I'd do a whimsical one this time...

I started with a piece of basic text paper 11" x 17". Applied Distress Oxide pads direct to paper in several yellows and oranges. Scrunched it up and then misted the back lightly and continued to scrunch. Opened it up and dried. Applied more Oxide pads to the high points in a green, then ironed flat. Cut down to 8" x 17". Created my structure in various fold sizes. Added on a tail and the face with some of the leftover paper. Folded and inverted the folds to create the tail and gill shapes.
