ID: Circle Booklet - Remember - Love U

Created: October 11, 2023
Modified:
size: 3.75"sq

I was totally in a funk and didn't create anything for our Oct meeting... but when Mary explained this structure I was inspired... I didn't follow any of the dimensions... PS this can be made with any and as many of the same size circles as you want.

I started cutting the heart shapes with about a 3.75" heart punch from red textured cardstock (brand unknown), but when I was trying to assemble it, I realized because of the way it folds closed that wouldn't work... so cut 6 circles with a 3" punch from white cardstock and adhered the hearts.

Punched a 5/16" hole on the right edge of 5 of the circles as close as I could get without ripping the circle, making sure they were all in the same spot... punched (5)1/2" circles from the red cardstock. Punched 20 (1/4") circles from white cardstock.

Adhered 4 of the white 1/4" circles together, then onto the center of one of the red 1/2" circles and while holding that in place, adhered it to the next circle as close to the edge again. Repeat with the other circles, making sure they all are in the same spot on subsequent circles.

I used one of my geli prints to cut out my letters, adhered to each circle and outlined with a pointed nib and Bleed Proof white ink.

I created the booklet container from white cardstock cut to approx 3.75" h x 7.5"w and then folded in half. The inner pocket was cut just a touch smaller so it wouldn't interfere with closing. I cornered the inner one on the left top edge, again for easier closing... I put a dab of glue to the bottom edge of the inner pocket. Punched a small hole in the cover, marked the spot on the inner pocket and punched a hole. Holes match up and I attached my brad, folding the prongs out of the way and covering with a small circle.
