Our challenge for our April 12th meeting is to try the next  structure in the book - One Sheet Folds #24 Booklet Fold from Hedi Kyle's "Art Of The Fold" book.

I really like the potential this fold has...

I thought I was finished making these booklets but all of a sudden yesterday I had the urge to make one from a piece of 12 x 12" scrapbook paper... I don't like this pad so am trying to use it up...

I used a 12 x 12" scrapbook paper.

Folded and slit off on the top crease line and the middle one about 1" down.

Wrote out the words on white calligraphy paper in Ben Shahn style lettering using a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Smudge a Distress pad "Crushed Olive" all over and blended with a sponge. Cut down to the height of the letters and adhered to booklet.
