I had forgotten to use the brown piece on my previous card (you can see it HERE), so looked on my desk and saw enough scraps to make this card. This combines stuff from both tutorials from the on online techniques type class I'm taking taught by Jennifer McGuire on "Online Card Classes" Inspiration Showcase which started on Monday. The first class covered various Resist techniques (See card HERE), with some variations and lots of samples. This card incorporates most of them. Sheesh!!

I'm also using a sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I used a soft suede toned cardstock for the main card.

Altered Color Embossing: The brown piece is simple a white cored cardstock, run through with embossing folder, high points sanded then some of the dots were colored with copic markers or other coloring tool.

I didn't have white core cardstock in handy reach (I'm lazy) so D2P with Distress Walnut Stain on white cardstock, dried well, run through with Swiss Dots, high points sanded and dots colored with some glitter or Liquid Pearls.

The yellow square is Trapped in Resist technique, the butterfly is the same but on ugly paper. See sample Pic #1A

The fabric piece was one I didn't like the results as much as with the one I put on the previous card, but worked  ok on this card, it uses the resist on fabric technique.

You're seeing a piece of the silver metal tape but uncolored. As well as the tip of the brown square - just basic embossing sponging and high points D2P. (Sample pic 1B)

Adhered all to card. Stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock with Versafine Black Onyx, punched out with rectangle punch, Edges sponged with Barn Door. The rectangle behind is a piece of Day 1 Acrylic Resist.
