ID : OnLine Class - Resist Papillon5"w x 7"h
Created: September 14, 2011
I'm also using a word stamp from Quietfire Design |
The main card was stamped with a word stamp (Just Jhones "Pieces & Parts" set) with Perfect Medium on a cream toned cardstock, clear embossed, sponged with Distress stamp pads (Spun Sugar & Bundled Sage). See Sample pic 1B below The word was stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia. Trapped Resist: The circle type background (Sample pic #1A) is a technique I haven't used before. Take some paper you don't like, stamp an image (Colorbox Molding Mat "Circulate") that has solid areas and fine areas with an clear embossing stamp pad (Perfect Medium), emboss with clear embossing powder, sponge with dye or chalk pads or whatever (Distress Spun Sugar & Concord Grape). You can see the ugly paper below. You can see the ugly paper peeking through the embossed areas.
Acrylic Resist:
The butterfly in that close up. Brayer or dauber acrylic paint (Dauber Pearl) on
stamp (Hero Arts "Floral Brocade"). Stamp onto glossy paper, heat set. Sponge or
D2P with dye (Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick) or chalk ink pads,
wipe of excess. |
