I signed up for a week's worth of classes with "Workshop Week 2021" via Crowdcast. This 3D letter was done during Sabeena Karnik's class. Even though it looks nothing like hers... instead of just simple pieces of papers inside the shape (to make it easier for the rest of the students...) I decided to raid my quilled stash... It's a side folded black linen textured card. Inside still to be determined...
I cut the base from one of my Geli prints then surrounded the letter with gradient quill paper, then adhered my various quilled pieces.
I wrote out the rest of the words with a pointed pen and Holbien Permanent White Gouache.
