I finally found my Gelatos and have been playing with them today...

I'm using an Xmas stamp from Quietfire Design

I colored the embossing folder (Sizzix Christmas backgrounds & borders set "Holiday Print") with the Gelatos in various shades of pink and then added purples, misted heavily with water and then ran it through my embossing machine. (Used 110# white cardstock). Dried. Sponged Distress Seedless Preserves over all the high points, then sand it down. Added a pencil line shadow on a couple letters and numbers and blended it with a paper stump. Used a zig zag blade on my rotary cutter to trim the edges, then sponged the edge with the purple. Recycled the bow from I don't know where... and it also had a thin fibre thread which I wrapped around the background. Stamped the sentiment on some lightly sanded white Shrink Plastic with Versafine Black Onyx. Colored the edges with a pink Spectrum Noir pen, blending with my finger, then edged with a Krylon Gold Leafing pen, then shrank it. Adhered to bow with Golden's extra heavy gel medium and added some small white half pearls.

Sponged the purple around the edges of the card front, then dried it. Stamped the sentiment on the top and bottom so it would be visible when the background was added, with Versafine Imperial Purple and clear embossed it. Then repeatedly stamped the sentiment in different directions. Adhered the background.
