I seem to be in a quilling mood lately. This is another card using quilled flowers, but not using the traditional quilling strips. This time I cut my strips from scrap light weight cardstock and used the linguini setting on my pasta machine to cut the strips... Then incorporated punched elements.

I'm using a sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I like the feel of using the cardstock for my quilling. I'm able to get a less tight coil. I also like the very narrow quill strips, doesn't make the flower quite so thick.

I used a cream toned cardstock and sponged Distress Shabby Shutters around the edges.

Punched a rectangle shape from white cardstock using Martha Stewart around the page Layered Arches punch set. Sponged Forest Moss all over, dried, then applied Perfect Medium to just the scalloped edges and clear embossed, then cut out the internal rectangle. Stamped the wildflowers (La Blanche), painted some of the floral elements with watercolor paints, dried and adhered the frame.

Quilled my petals with a bright yellow and bright pinky tone, some had the other color quilled around the petal. Die cut  couple of sizes of the scalloped flower (Heartfelt Creations) from pink cardstock and adhered my quilled petals, adding rhinestones or pearls in the hole of the quilling. Adhered to card. Added a bit of stickles magenta to the flower on the left.

Adhered some green/red flower soft to some of the weedy sprigs. Added some blue stickles to the painted little flower centers.

Stamped the word Serenity with Versafine Black Onyx and die cut with Spellbinders Grommet Tags, sponged some green around the edges and adhered to card with 3D foam dots. Added the little green dots to the grommet area. Punched the butterfly (Martha Stewart) from white cardstock, sponged with Broken China and smeared with blue stickles.
