MC March/12 - Scroll Frame -
Papillon Thank You card
Created: March 22, 2012 I was playing with an EK Success Punch (Scroll Pattern) which I just love and decided to create a silhouette image to cut with my electronic cutter. I created a border pattern which I cut out from white cardstock... and was used as a stencil on this card as I mentioned on the other card which you can see HERE. I'm using a sentiment & word stamp from Quietfire Design

To continue with the frame, on this one
I sponged Distress colors - sorry can't remember what colors... (I
believe scattered Straw & Broken China), moved the stencil and
sponged more colors giving me a slight shadow line. Today, one of the techniques in Tim's online class "Chemistry 101" we made a custom stamp pad (you can see my class Post HERE), so I figured I might as well use it in real life BIG GRIN. Love the way it turned out. The butterflies are also Quietfire Design rubber stamps. And I really like the way they stamped onto my stencilled background. I stamped the sentiment and word stamp with Versafine Black Onyx. |
