I die cut the card using Spellbinders
Postage die set, cutting the front end and then realigning on the
die and cutting the rest to get a rectangle card. Sponged the edges
with Distress Old Paper, Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo.
Embossed it with Sizzix Steampunk embossing folder, then
hitting the high points with Pumice Stone. Stamped the Canada 2012
with a Just Rite alphabet set. Die cut some smaller stamps, again realign to die cut the size I wanted, sponging Broken China on one and Shabby Shutters on the other. Stamped (Stubby Stampers "Key Top Border" & Just Jhones Pieces & Parts set) with Versafine Black Onyx. The stamp value was stamped with Just Rite alphabet stamps. Die cut the Gear (Tim's Gadget Gears) and the key (Tim's Hardware Findings) twice from white cardstock. Stuck the two together to make a stronger item. Inked with black and embossed with Silver and Hematite for the gear, and Rustique Tin Can & Hematite for the key. Adhered them to the card with 3D foam dots. Stamped the Happy Birthday with the black. |
