I think I'm trying to make up for lost time... for not doing any cards for almost 2 weeks... plus its my quilling group get together this Wednesday, so better have something to show. BIG GRIN.

I'm using quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I had made a background on white cardstock  using Dylusions dye inks, gesso, stamping etc - and didn't like it. It just wasn't me... although the color combination was really nice. I'm not one to throw things away, so it was going to end up in the proverbial drawer to languish away... Then I said, why not cut some quill strips and see how that goes, and voila, I made these 3 flowers, plus another one and a butterfly and I still have some cardstock left over. I really like the results, so I guess I'll be cutting up some other backgrounds in the near future.

I also used one of my newest dies from Quilled Creations to make my fringes in the center.

Picked up the lace ribbons from Paper Pastimes, which I thought really lent it self to the summer feel of the card. The little butterflies are drop outs from the Spellbinders Butterfly Circle die and I sponged Distress Broken China and Shabby Shutters on them and added a co-ordinating colored pencil body.

Stamped the quote with Versafine Black Onyx.
