I love embossing with watercolor crayons and in this case I used my Faber Castell Gelatos. This was a very quick and easy card.

I'm using the Happy Birthday sentiment stamp set from Quietfire Design

I ran my crayons over my embossing folder (Cuttlebug "Typeset" #2000204), misted my paper with water (110# white cardstock), placed the cardstock in the folder and ran through my machine, removed the paper and dried it. I then sponged Distress Wild Honey around the edges, then a touch of Walnut stain and then touched a few places with Broken China. I was in a very colorful mood...

My main card is white and I sponged the Honey and some Barn Door around the edges. Tied a double peg bow with the 1.5" wide fuchsia colored gauze ribbon and adhered it to the alpha background, anchoring it on the back, then adhered the background to the card front.

Stamped my sentiment onto Shrink Plastic with Versafine Black Ony, trimmed the edges with a zig zag rotary cutter, punched a 1/4" hole and then shrunk with my heat gun. attached it to my bow with a safety pin. Added a bunch of beads to my pearl headed hat pin, ran it through my bow and added more beads with the last one I adhered it with Glossy Accents so you can't get pricked by the pin...
