I was thumbing through my floral stamp catalogue for an image and noticed this one I recently got and really wanted to use it. It was a water lily corner piece by Beeswax. There are a few other elements covering up or added to the corner. See below.

I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

Adhered a textured orange cardstock to the front of my white card.

Stamped the corner with Versafine Black Onyx on white cardstock and colored it with watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. Applied Pan Pastels lightly over my background area using Turquoise and then lightly Bright Yellow Green Shade over the turquoise to give me a pond colored greenish water... Stamped the little dragonfly on the reeds (Beeswax Rubber Stamps) with the black and applied glue with a Quickie Glue Pen on the wings and sprinkled with Ritz micro fine glitter in a purple tone. Trimmed the piece to fit my card and adhered. Stamped the quote with the black.

Created a cut file for my electronic cutter, by stamping the large water lily image (Flourishes #54 Waterlilies) onto white cardstock, coloring it in black, scanning it and then uploading it into my cutting program "SCAL". Sized it and cut it from white cardstock, and stamped my image onto the cut piece. Colored with the watercolor pencils. Adhered it to the card with 3D adhesive tape.

Punched out the dragonfly (EK Success) from some scrap paper and applied the glue and glitter. Colored the body brown with a marker and adhered the dragonfly to the flower.
