I love this small Madison window and shutters by Memory Box. I picked up both the small and large versions.

I'm using a quote stamp on the outside and an Xmas stamp on the inside from Quietfire Design

I embossed my white card (Sizzix Tim's Texture Fade "Bricked") and ran a sponge with Distress "Antique Linen over the high points.

Die cut my window in the front, sponged a bit of the Linen to darken the wood and then re inserted it into the drop out area, temporarily adhering it on the back.

Die cut 2 sets of shutters from some scrap decorated papers. Used a piece of cardstock as a hinge to attach one shutter, then adhered the 2 shutter on top to hide the hinge. The other part of the hinge was adhered to the inside of the card. Repeated on the right side.

Stamped the quote with Versafine Toffee on the same decorated paper, Embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder, cut out and used a hole punch to nick the corners.

Cut away the window cross and added a slightly larger vertical window brace. Traced the window onto another piece of white cardstock, cut out the opening and adhered it to the back of the front piece.

Penciled in my window opening on the inside, stamped my Xmas candles (Flourishes ) and colored with colored pencils. Die cut some pine branches (Cheery Lynn) from some scrap decorated papers and adhered to inside. Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx.
