well there were several challenges that asked for dots, stripes or both, so I decided to do stripes of various dot patterns...

And I'm using a quote stamp I often use from Quietfire Design..

I stencilled (Crafters Workshop 6 x 6 dots) my dot pattern onto white cardstock using a brush and Eberhard Twin Color acrylic paint in a Turquoise Blue/Silver color.

I punched out designs using EK Success slim edgers and large edger border punches (Deco Scallop, Swiss Cheese, Bubbles, Le Circle) from both the painted dot background and a metallic aqua cardstock and the edge of the main white card. I also adhered the drop out pieces.

I added Ritz micro fine glitter in the large negative circles both in an aqua color and a warm highlights. Added aqua rhinestones in other negative circles. Put a strip of silver adhesive glitter sticker paper which I colored with aqua alcohol inks.

Ruffled a white polka dotted gauze ribbon onto a piece of double sided tape, then adhered the thin aqua blue ribbon on top. Adhered the assembly to the card.

Stamped the quote onto a piece of translucent vellum using Versafine black onyx and clear embossing. Die cut with Spellbinders "Stars Five" die set. Die cut another star from white cardstock, the same size but nested the next size down to make an open border for backing the vellum, which I then adhered with glossy accents.

Die cut the aluminum metal star and backed it onto white cardstock as well. Pop dotted both stars onto the card.

Card closed, you can see the inside edging peeking through the dots.
