Continuing on with my self imposed challenge of only using my scraps - giving myself till the end of March to see how it goes... this card was also made only with scraps.

I'm using one of the 10 tiny sentiments from Quietfire Design

The background scraps have pieces of scored and sanded geometric design; stamped, black embossed, painted flowers; Ritz micro fine glitter; distressed bkgr'd with pasted embossed spider web; painted/dirty tissue covered cardstock; Ritz micro fine glitter; silver polka dotted white mulberry paper with a white/silver gauze ribbon; punched leaf design on Sookwang tape and glittered; clear embossed stamped flowers.

I cut some decorated background scraps into narrow strips, adhered them to a base cardstock with Sookwang tape, leaving a narrow space between the strips, to emboss with black embossing powder when all the strips were adhered. One of the strips I used an EK Success deep edger punch to create the circle dot pattern. Then punched out little yellow circles to add to the centers. Punched a hole and added the star eyelets. Adhered the red rhinestones to the rest of the centers.

Had this piece of yellow decorated cardstock already cut and scored to make a rosette, so added Tim's tissue tape  on the back, accordion folded it, adhered it to a smaller punched circle, added Glossy Accents to the center hole. Die cut the flower center (Crealie's #15) from some Distress sponged cardstock, adhered to center, adhered a drop out circle from the background and then a large half pearl. (this rosette is too high now to pass through the postal slot at the post  office...). Adhered the white braided cord and faux stitched it with Tim's tiny attacher in a criss-cross pattern.

Stamped the Happy Birthday (Quietifre Design) and the other words (Just Rite alphabet stamp set) with Versafine Black Onyx, die cut with a Spellbinders oval die, sponged some red and yellow around the edges, punched a hole and tied with some purple ribbon.

As a final touch added the Sakura black glaze pen faux stitching around the edge.
