ID: MC Jan/12 - Queen of Hearts card
5"w x 6.5"h

Created: February 7, 2012

It's another year of the Queen of Hearts challenge on the Quietfire design blog. So thought I'd use yellow roses to symbolize friendship.

And I'm using sentiment and quote from Quietfire Design.

I just got a bunch of new stamps from Chocolate Baroque in the UK and was amazed at the speedy delivery - 5 days...

Embossed the front of my cream toned card using the frame from the Cuttlebug "Celebrate with Flourish" set. Sponged Distress Scattered Straw around the edges.

Stamped my quote, sentiment and flourished heart with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Added the ampersand with a black micron pen.

I created a stamp silhouette of the fan rose, cut with my electronic cutter and then stamped a bunch of them, clear embossed and colored with watercolors. Used a Quickie Glue Pen and applied it to the border areas, sprinkled Ritz micro fine glitter "Bronze". Cut out some letters with my cutter (Friendship), colored with a black Sumi pen and adhered to the heart area, then added a layer of Glossy Accents. When dry punched a hole for my pearl brad and attached to card. Added some white half pearls near the rose head.

The dragonfly on the inside is also from Chocolate Baroque "Damask Squares" set.
