Fun Letters Class #2 "Matisse" Exemplar & Samples

.

The exemplar on the left is a font on my computer printed at size 48. The exemplar on the right is my rendition of the typeface hand drawn and colored in with a Micron and Zig pen.

I first drew in the wavy lines, then the letters with a pencil. Drew in my vertical type break lines, without putting too many of them, then used a Zig marker over my pencil lines and a Micron pen for the details in the letters. The patterns were done with Prisma colored pencils, including a white pencil and a Lyra Splender blender. Try to leave some white space.

This is a playful graphic way of using the letters done with a Micron pen.
