Fun Letters Class #1 "Basic" exemplar & samples in Squares

These use the same monoline from the "Basic" exemplar but done using a small square eraser, hand cut, as a stamping tool, or inserting the letter in and out of a hand drawn square.

Created: February 20, 2009
Modified:

I Used the bullet tip of a Zig Writer marker to make them stand out. The square and details are done with a Micron pen and colored in with various mediums. The  a bunch of dots with various colored gel pens sprinkled all over the page.

D - Prisma Colored Pencils
R - Sakura Stardust Gel Pen and H2o
e - ArtQuest W/C palette
A - Twinkles H2o's
M - Derwent Inktense W/C pencils & H2o

Cut out a small square stencil about 3/4" or 1" square. The letteres were done the same as above, but added little serifs and the details with a fine tipped Micron pen and added details on the letters with gel pens.

For the Happy Birth Day I cut a piece of eraser approx 3/4" square and Used Twinkles H2o's to apply color to the rubber and then misted it lightly prior stamping with it. When dry I did a squiggly line and details with a Micron fine tipped pen. The "HBD" letters were done with a thicker Micron pen

Same as above but with different colors and the letters done with the bullet tip of the Zig marker and the square done with straight lines instead of squiggles.
