Fun Letters Class #1 "Basic" exemplar & samples on Black

These use the same monoline from the "Basic" exemplar but done on black cardstock (Full Spectrum Color Line)

Again I used a small stylus and then the flat of the colored pencil (Prisma Colors) putting a light layer of white first.

Another variation is color your black paper with a white pencil, then dry emboss, then color with colored pencils. Your letters will now be white instead of black.

The letters were first drawn in with a white colored pencil and then over colored with a Lyra Super Ferby Metallic colored pencil. Then I added a couple of Peel Off silver stars instead of the dots that would normally go there.

The "B" below is first dry embossed with a medium stylus, the flat of a white colored pencil, then the with the flat of a Super Ferby's.

I first outlined the letters with a Ranger's Inkssentials white pen and then colored in the rectangles with Pebbles Pearlescent chalks using my rectangle as a masking stencil. Hard to see the colors in the image. I also rubbed the chalks well into the cardstock so I don't need fixative.
