ID# Xmas Ornament - Xmas 2011
4.25"W x 5.5 "H

I've been working on some samples for an upcoming fun lettering workshop I'll be teaching soon and trying to make samples that had some variety to the end results and in doing so created my sample for this year's Xmas cards... Now all I have to do is make about 60 of them.

I die cut the largest Xmas ornament using Spellbinders "Heirloom Ornament" set and cream cardstock, ran it through my machine again to dry emboss it. Drew the cut out on a piece of paper and cut out the ornament a little smaller, then used that as a mask to stamp my swirls, which were then embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder. It left a nice clean edge all around.

I die cut a Spellbinder's circle and wrote in my lines and words with a very fine tipped Micron pen. I then sponged some Distress barn Door around the edges and adhered it to my Ornaments with 3D pop dots. I tied a peg bow from some gold/red metallic ribbon and attached it to the ornament with a red brad.

I embossed  a piece of red cardstock using the Cuttlebug "Season's greetings" folder (#37-1931), attached the ornament with the brad and layered it onto my main white card. The ornament is free moving, so I could hide a message behind it if I wanted to.

Words: Christmas is a time when every ornament becomes a memory and to wish u much happiness this holiday season.
