Cover for Therese M: I used
Canson 90LB CP watercolor paper and the wonderful Acrylic background
technique that Nettonya let me know about. Detailed description of
technique below. I did my thermal embossing with gold embossing
powder and my style of Kersal letters for my name. I only colored in the
actual letter using Twinkles H2o's and left the background paper as the background for the
lettering. I used Dr Martin's iridescent copper for the theme words and
calligraphy. I outlined the page with a Krylon 18K gold leaf pen.

| Acrylic Background Technique: I
did an all over wash with
Delta Ceramcoat Yellow "D" (bright yellow) acrylic
paint. Edges with Bittersweet #2041, then with Navy Blue # 2089, both
colors spritzed with some water.
Another all over layer with Folkart Metallic Copper mixed with some water
and rubbed with a sponge. When dry, Delta Ceramcoat Black Green #2116 spritzed with some water and then
slightly rubbed and dabbed lightly when slightly dry sprayed with Moon Glows - Moon Shadows Bucket O' Blood & Golden
Doubloons, heavily applied in some areas.
PS some of the steps were repeated to give more contrast.
