| Page 1 for Nadine W: I used
Glossy cardstock. Spread Golden's iridescent Bronze (fine) randomly on
cardstock. Spritzed with water to get the metals from the paint to
separate getting these wonderful green tones. I also lightly sprayed with
Moon Glows Golden Doubloons. While everything was still wet, I used a
small tipped stylus to inscribe my words "Art, Beliefs, Techniques,
Thoughts, Inspiration & Ideas". When everything was dry, I painted
over the words with Green Umber Folkart acrylic paint, then wiped it away
before it was too dry. I added aqua rhinestones at the points of each of
the letters in my name. I encased the cardstock with copper foil.
It's hard to see all the variations that this technique has. Real life is always better - sorry for those who can't get to see it. I used 12" scrapbook paper for the inside pages, which allowed me to create a flap extension, which when viewed from Page 1, you enter my art room with pics. |
