Silk  (October 2007)

This is a continuation using the painted silk I made in a recent BVCG workshop. To see the other ATC's made with this silk click on the link at bottom of page.

Silk_GoldFish#1

ID: Silk - GoldFish 1 (unavailable)

Fishtail: Sakura Stardust gel pens (pink & lime) blended with some water. Mounted to lime green cardstock

All of this batch start out with white cardstock run through my Cuttlebug using a Dreamweaver brass stencil (Lynell Harlow #LG 629). On some I used the positive image on some the negative side. I used Distress pads either in Faded Jeans or Weathered Wood. Stamped my goldfish image (Evolving Images plate #67) on both the ATC and on the silk, cutting out the body section of the ATC and gluing the silk portion to the back of the ATC using white glue. Rubber stamped the Asian words (Inkadinkado 13 pc Asian set) using Distress Walnut Ink. Each fish tail is done differently.

On GoldFish #1 I punched out my letters using my Sizzlets alphabet die and my Cuttlebug.

On the other 3 ATC's I used a St.Steel Oriental alphabet stencil  (American Traditional #GSP-14) and a micron pen. Then colored in the letters with a gel pen and thermal embossed them.
