ID: Pan Pastels "Happy
Birthday"
Created: June 16, 2008 I rubber stamped the flower (Magenta C35085) with Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson and clear embossed it. I used the Sofft #3 to color in the petals of the flower using Orange for the bottom wide portion of the petal then some yellow on top. Used a water brush with a bit of water to move the color around. It has a resistance to water but can be moved. This also set the color in the flower. It seems when you move the Pastels with water I haven't need to spray with fixative. I used my rotary deckle cutter on a piece of thin cardstock to create the edge for the yellow border. Holding the paper down, and using the little eye shadow sponge and Hansa Yellow, I made a larger border frame, then I worked in very small circular motions for the little wavy lines, keeping my tool more on the deckled cardstock and just occasionally skimming the white cardstock paper. I used Krylon Workable Fixative to set my pastels. I used the deckle cutter to trim around the frame and scissors & x-acto knife for the flower. Glued this to a beautiful green cardstock. |
