Another way to use the Micro Fine Glitter is to cut designs in the release paper of the Sookwang tape. The candy cane stripe was done this way.

I put a strip of 1"w Sookwang tape onto a piece of white cardstock. Drew my design using a Sharpie black marker, then used an x-acto blade to cut my design through the release paper WITHOUT going through the tape and cardstock. I removed the release paper for the red glitter first. Burnished well and cleaned off the strip really well. Then removed the balance of the release papers and sprinkled with "Cool Highlights". Trimmed the glitter art so that I'd have nice neat sides. Set this aside.

Created a background of holly leaves using the Quietfire Design Xmas/08 holly stamp by repeatedly stamping with Versafine Black Onyx and embossing with Judikins "Psychedelic", all over the card front. Then randomly rubber stamped the 3 different snowflakes (Quietfire Design Xmas/09) and gold emboss them.

Rubber stamped the quote onto cream toned cardstock with Versafine "Olympia Green" and embossing with Pearl Green then die cutting with the scalloped oval with Nestabilities "Classic Scallop Oval Large" #S4-111 and the metallic green paper with "Classic Ovals Large" #S4-110. Mounted one onto the other.

Adhered the candy cane strip, then the oval. Had a holly leaf done on a scrap piece of cardstock and cut out one of the leaves to lay on top  of the ovals.
