Well we were yakking on one of my Yahoo groups about Ecoline inks and doing a demo type thing with them. I have all the colors - BIG GRIN - so thought I'd do a bit of playing with them. This one uses clear thermal embossing to create a resist. I'm using the stamps from Quietfire Design that came out I think in March of this year. The rubber plate had all kinds of French words, and these small and large cupcakes and these two sentiments and a few other things. Lots of fun. So I repeatedly rubber stamped the small cupcakes (they're 3 little cupcakes) onto 110# white cardstock with Perfect Medium, thermal embossed them with clear. Taped down my cardstock to a solid surface and sprayed the cardstock with lots of water and then dropped or brushed on my Ecoline inks (Carmine, Turquoise Blue, Deep Yellow). Let it dry completely then trimmed it down to size. Used a dry iron and several sheets of plain newsprint to lift off the clear embossing. Rubber stamped my cupcake, and 2 word sentiments using Versafine Black stamp pad. Then used a Dreamweaver Brass stencil (Lynell Harlow #LL551 3 cupcakes) and the white paste over one of the images. When dry I colored it with Pebbles pearlescent chalks, and a Tombow Marker for the cherry adding some Diamond Glaze to make it shiny.
