ID: Mini Booklet #1

2.75"w x 4.25"h x 3/8" thk.

This booklet was inspired by one that Sonja Idema made for my friend. It's a very simple wrap around binding which is hidden under the decorative cover.

This booklet is made with 5 signatures of 4 pages each from Grumbacher's "Paper for Pens - Pentalic". The light green is an inner cover made from Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock and it peaks out about 1/4" (top, bottom and in the cut out window). The binding of the signature wraps around a bar made from slits in the cardstock. I used a 4 ply waxed linen thread (country yellow) for binding. The decorative cover made from my Paste Papers is held to the booklet by another bar made from slits. I added a piece of painted linen hinging tape on the spine to add strength. The dark stripe you see on the left image, is the back of the decorative paper peaking out which I painted with Lumiere's Metallic Olive.
