Another cold pressed watercolor paper. I penciled in a bunch of circles and used colored pencils overlapping the colors where the circles intersected. I wanted them to have a transparent bubbly feel. Even though the quote I chose is on the dark and heavy side, I really wanted a playful and frivolous look to the page. I wrote my text in "Enviro" using my black zig marker. I then used my Peerless watercolors in a wet on wet technique in a multitude of color variations. The original had a totally white background, but I decided to fill in the center space in black ink. I think it made everything just pop.

Text: Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble. Fillet of a fenny snake, in the cauldron boil and bake. Eye of newt and toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog. Adder's fork and blind worm's sting, lizzard's leg, and owlet's wing, for a charm of powerful trouble, like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Macbeth; Act 4 Scene 1 - Shakespeare
