Sherry's Technique Journal

One of my friends
had a "Milestone" birthday and I gave her a similar
journal with a hand made gift box and lots of samples of
techniques I had started her off with. I have one of these type
journals as well, and that left my other friend (we're a
threesome on many occasions, without one). So I decided to make
her a similar one but with a few less details and no artwork
inside. The covers are book board covered with a hand painted/decorated unprimed canvas (technique learnt in Christine Ahmad's class recently). Used lots of acrylic paints, rubber stamps (Quietfire Design quote, Roann Mathias word stamps, foam & hand made stamps), stencils, Prisma colored pencils, Super Metallic Ferby's, and probably a few other things I can't remember. |

I used white Stonehenge cardstock for the inside cover that attaches to the book covers. The pages Sherry supplied and I believe are copy paper. I attached 3.4 of the Stonehenge cover to the back of the journal cover, leaving about a1/4 free for a bit of movement when handling the journal. |
