The book block is a running stitch with kettle stitch binding done in a 2 ply waxed line thread "Natural" and held to the covers with the criss cross binding (aka Secret Belgian Binding developed by Anne Goy from Belgium) done in a 4ply waxed linen thread "Dusty Rose". I added copper eyelets in all the holes.
The signatures are created with 24w Neena Neutech, 25% cotton ultra White Wove Finish that we use for our calligraphy practice pads and is a beautiful paper to write on. There are 9 signatures, each signature is 8 folios (32 pages) for a total of 288 pages. The inside of the covers is done with a copper leaf pattern wrapping paper (Paper Roots).
