Our Scribbled Lives challenge #48 is wrapping paper... I was honored to be on the cover of our latest Guild journal so photo copied it in color and B&W. I had wanted to put the colored bow onto the B&W print booklet but found it too busy, so created several... ROFL

The booklet instructions is #23 in "Art Of The Fold" book by Heidi Kyle

I'm using Columbia Mills LBS End Paper, which folds nicely, has a good weight and is sturdy. I created 2 geli prints using a yellow gouache, a red and dk blue acrylic paint. I liked the print but it was too dark for what I had in mind so pulled a 2nd generation print - YES!!

Instructions for making the BOW HERE

1st & 2nd generation prints

size: 4.5"h x 10.5"w (totally open)
3.5"h x 4.5"w x 1/4"thk (approx)

This is the 2nd generation print with the colored photo copy for the bow.

I added a couple pages of the same paper for writing a message or whatever.

inside

size: 4.25"h x 8"w (totally open)
3"h x 4.25"w x 1/8"thk (approx)

This is the B&W print cover of the BVCG Journal issue #152. Live and learn I should have orientated my paper so the writing would be right side up on the front...

I adhered a misc bow from my stash.
