This is the 3rd day of the online watercolor for cards class

I'm using one of the newest  stamp sets from  Quietfire Design. that I got in the m the day before yesterday

 Watercolor Block backgrounds with Jennifer McGuire. Her first lesson was a soft background which I didn't do, was more in for the vibrant kind... and wanted to create a kind of sunrise sky. You would think this is way to vibrant for a sky, but you haven't seen some of Calgary's sunrises - they are spectacular.

I applied various colors of art quality watercolors on a large 5 x 5" acrylic block using a 1/2" watercolor brush. Then misted with water, and pressed it down onto my  Arches 90# HP watercolor paper and let the block sit there for a good 5 minutes.

Stamped the chairs (Old Island "Adirondack Chairs") with Distress pads and gently moved the colors around with a watercolor brush. Created a mask from some tracing paper and stamped the tree (Penny Black "Enjoy Life" set). Double stamped the top of the tree to make it a bit fuller. Stamped the grasses (same Penny Black set).

Stamped the quote with Versafine Black Onyx.

Adhered my scene to dark blue cardstock then on to my side folded white card.
