This is the 2nd day of the online watercolor for cards class

I'm using one of the newest  sentiment stamps that I just got in the mail today from  Quietfire Design.

Vibrant Watercolor Wash background using resists with Jennifer McGuire

I used Peerless watercolors for this card and you can see how I organize them HERE

I stamped my image (Rubber Necker "Bold Daisy" onto Arches 90# HP watercolor paper using Versafine Black Onyx. Masked off the flowers using Winsor & Newton Colourless Art Masking Fluid and an old brush which I apply some hand soap to prior any masking. It protects the bristles and makes it easier to clean.

When the masking was dry, swiped my 1/2" brush over the whole area with lots of water. I did random streaks so there was some white of paper coming through as well.

Applied paint from my Peerless watercolor in deep blues and violets, set aside to dry. Then removed the masking. Trimmed it down using a deckle edges rotary cutter. Adhered to dark blue Ruche cardstock then on to my side folded white card.

Stamped the sentiment using Versafine "Toffee" and embossing with white embossing powder.

Added the two blue square rhinestones.
