Men cards are not easy for me, but with Tim's "Gears" die cut and Cuttlebug's "Gears" embossing folder, it became a lot easier...

The words "Happy Birthday" is from Suzanne (Quietfire Design), put into a Spellbinder's oval die cut and sponged with some Worn Lipstick.

I embossed a piece of grey cardstock with the Gears folder, swiped some Versafine Smoky Grey on the high points and embossed with a mix of left over embossing powders (a greyish bronze mix). Adhered that layer to a metallic charcoal grey cardstock.

I die cut the gears from chipboard, painted the edges with silver metallic acrylic paint and embossed the fronts with silver embossing powder. Added a punched out cardstock red circle and a couple on the back to make movement of the gears more easy and then attached to the card front. Adhered these layers to the red main card.

Stamped my sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx, die cut with a Spellbinders Oval die, dry embossed it and sponged some Distress Worn Lipstick on the edges.
