Well Mylar's been around for ages, but it was only this weekend that I came across some specifically for the arts & craft industry called Shimmer Sheetz. So I picked up a few sheets. There was a demo as well with some of the possibilities. I was intrigued.

I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix On the Edge die (Ornate set #656626) on one side. I then ran the Shimmer Sheetz (silver) through the Cuttlebug with the Asian Bundle "Kimiko" folder. Dribbled Alcohol inks (Poolside & Wild Plum) on the outer areas and then pounced a bit with blender. Cleaned up a few areas where the inks invaded the lady. Gave it a coat of Dorland wax and polished up like a baby's bottom.

Covered a piece of deep purple cardstock with a gauzy pink toned paper with the flocked design, then adhered the lady portion to this. Mounted it all to a lavender toned cardstock. Added some silver Peel Offs dots

Rubber stamped the Asian character for Kindness (Sunday international Kanji words set #FS21) with Versafine Imperial Purple and clear embossed it, then die cut it with a Spellbinder's oval die and sponged some Distress Dusty Concord around the edges.
