Created: May 29, 2010
I just got several of Tim's embossing folders and wanted to use them. So I sponged several colors of Distress stamp pads (Mustard Seed, Crushed Olive & Peeled Paint) onto white cardstock, misted with water and dried it thoroughly, then ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Damask folder from set #656648, then brayered Perfect Medium on the high points and embossed with Green Patina. Rubber stamped the quote onto white cardstock and die cut with the 2 largest Spellbinder's labels 3 dies. Ran them through again to emboss and then sponged color onto both. The quote one has Mustard Seed and Rusty Hinge, the bottom one only has Rusty Hinge. Adhered them to each other with 3D adhesive squares.

The layers were a white main card, tan textured cardstock, the damask background then the quote element. Ran a gauze variegated ribbon between the quote layers and adhered the ends between the tan and damask layers. Tied a bow and attached separately. Final touch was to add some white half pearls in the corners. |
