I created these two cards for our Quietfire Design Blog Hop starting November 16, 2009.

For both cards I adhered either the Gold Leaf (with Mona Lisa size) or the Aluminum foil (with a glue stick) to a piece of white cardstock and ran through the Cuttlebug with either the Xmas Ornament or Snowflakes embossing folders.

This one was mounted to a black/gold embossed velvet paper, then onto the main white card.

Rubber stamped the quote "Oh Santa" on one side and "Peace Goodwill" on the other clear embossing both. Both quotes are from Quietfire Design.  Edged the ornament with gold embossing powder and colored the ornament with Distress stamp pads and a sponging tool.

I used a Spellbinders oval shape to cut out the quote section, then added the ribbon wrapped around the embossed design and hung the ornament using a loop ring.

I brayered the high points with Versafine Black Onyx stamp pad and embossed with Holographic embossing powder. It was then mounted to a velvet paper which I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. Then mounted to a copper metallic cardstock which was mounted to the main card.

I used a circle cutter to cut my ornament. Stamped the word Peace on one side and the word Joy on the other with the black stamp pad and clear embossed. Both words are Quietfire Design and come from the "Textured Holiday Words" set. Edged the ornament with gold embossing powder and colored the ornament with Distress stamp pads and a sponging tool. Did a double bow and hung the ornament with a loop ring.
