This is another of my submissions for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the January 2012 issue with the theme of "Winter Wonderland". It didn't make it into the magazine but is in their online gallery.

The winter quote is a Quietfire Design rubber stamp.

Sponged Distress pads (Broken China & Spun Sugar) randomly around my 5" x 7" white cardstock, leaving lots of white space. Stood the sheet up and sprayed with Tsukineko Goosbumps. Dried thoroughly.

Placed it completely in my embossing folder (Cuttlebug Winter Wonderland set #200220) and having about a 1.5" piece sticking out of the folder. Ran through my machine, hit the high point with Faded Jeans using my sponging tool and a very light pressure. Embossed with Holographic embossing powder. Placed my cardstock back in the folder to emboss the other 2 edges, creating a 5 x 5 embossed square design. Hitting the high points of the new embossing and embossing with the Holographic. Sponged a bit more of the Broken China and the Spun Sugar here and there. Stamped my sentiment with Versafine Majestic Blue

Masked the edge of my embossed square with post it notes and worked on the 1.5" section. Stamped the Happy Birthday background stamp (Local King Rubber) with Perfect Medium and clear embossing, then sponged Distress Blue Jeans very heavily.

Repeatedly stamped the snowflake (Inkadinkado "Artistic Holiday") using the Majestic Blue on white cardstock to cover an area large enough to die cut 3 circles (Spellbinders Standard Circles Large die set) for my snowlady. Placed some Starform Transparent Glitter adhesive sticker onto the stamped area then die cut it using the 1st, 2nd & 4th die. Adhered the 3 balls with some Glossy accents. Sponged some Distress browns onto a scrap piece of white cardstock and die cut the Sizzix Branch Tree, cutting off a couple branches for the arms. Used alcohol based markers to do the nose, eyes and mouth. Stamped the hat (See Dee's "Hats off to You") on white cardstock and clear embossed, then used watercolors to paint it in. Cut it out and adhered it to my snowlady. Added a piece of ribbon and some blue half pearl buttons. Adhered to my background with pop dots.

I top folded to make a 5"h x 7"w card. Then I scored and folded the top piece in half. Adhered my background piece matching the bottom edge of the last fold I made. Sponged the floor of the card with Broken China, misted with perfect Pearls "Perfect Pearls". Stamped my quote with the Majestic Blue, crossed out the word men" and wrote in "lady". Added two snowflake brads (Hero Arts "Little Snowflakes") as stoppers.
