This is my submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the January 2010 issue with the theme of "Fabric".

I used a piece of white cotton ironed flat, and randomly marked it with Distress stamp pads in various shades of yellows, reds, purples, blues, misted to blend and merge colors scrunching up the fabric to get lots of creases, and continued applying stamp colors till pleased with the results. After the last scrunching, I skimmed a dark purple over the high points accentuating the crease marks. Ironed flat and until dry. Rubber stamped various inchy stamps from Inkadinkado "Flourishes #98772" & "Flower Garden #98770" with Versafine Imperial Purple. Made faux stitching lines with a Zig purple marker. Adhered the fabric to a cream toned main card with double sided tape. Adhered a thin purple silk ribbon with white glue, mitring the corners.

Rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) onto a piece of clear vellum with versafine Black Onyx, clear embossing it, then die cut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals large #s4-110 using the largest oval. Adhered to card with a thin bead of Diamond Glaze along the edge of the oval. Added bright yellow fabric flowers and some half pearls. For the last touch, I snipped lavender colored fabric flowers from a by the yard ribbon and adhered them to the cross sections of the faux stitching and along the edges.
