This is another of my submissions for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the March 2011 issue with the theme of "Alcohol Markers". It didn't make it into the magazine SIGH!! but is in the March online Gallery

This card was colored with Bic Alcohol Markers & Tombow Watercolor markers.

I rubber stamped the block pattern (Sunshine Designs set #SD CRS047CU) repeatedly on a white glossy paper, I believe called Luna  (larger than what I needed) and clear embossed them. I then just colored them in with random Bic marker colors to create a happy color scheme. The orangey background is a bright yellow Tombow marker. I cut the piece to size and adhered it to another piece of glossy paper colored with green Tombow marker.

The word "friend" was cut using Sizzix "Fun Serif" lower case letter set #38-0608 from a part of the cut off colored piece from above. Adhered them to another glossy paper colored with a green Tombow.

The white card was run through my Big Shot using the Checkerboard folder from the "Everyday bundle set #371956.

I adhered the decorative pieces to the card, then used a Spellbinders Oval die set to die cut the window. I also die cut the next size up from a piece of the glossy paper and colored it with a peachy Tombow marker. Stamped the quote (one of my calligraphic clear quote stamps), using Versafine Black onyx and clear embossing it.

Adhered a strip of some leftover decorative paper on the inside, then adhered my oval, lining it up to the window opening. Tied a big bow and adhered it to the front with Sookwang tape.

On the inside, I stamped the block corners (Quietfire Design) with Versamagic stamp pad "Tea Leaves" all over and then touched it with Brilliance "Pearlescent Ivy" here and there.

view of card slightly open - you can see the oval cut out and the quote in the background.
