This is my submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the February 2011 issue with the theme of "Create a Scene".

I just bought this new stamp set from Stacy Stamps of the large geranium corner with the hanging basket and since this was coming out in February, I thought it would be perfect for this challenge. I added the bench from Flourishes "Around the Arbor" set and the Penny Black "Enjoy Life" Set for the birds.

I inked up an acrylic block with Distress Spun Sugar and edged the block with Walnut Stain, then stamped onto my white cardstock. I then created a mask from some tracing paper and  stamped the corner with Versafine Black Onyx. Colored in the flowers with Prisma colors. They turned out so nice and vibrant. They just pop of the page.

I stamped the bench with the Walnut Stain.

Stamped the basket with the black and colored that in with the same colors. then used white glue and sprinkled Flower Soft in a Poppy red and in a pink. Pressed down well to make sure they adhered to the glue. Let dry.

Inked up part of the quote (Quietfire Design ) with the black and stamped in the bench square. Cleaned the stamp and again only inked up part of the stamp and stamped the word "Love"

It wanted something more, then I saw my birds stamp and stamped them onto a separate piece of cardstock, colored them in, cut around them - cutting off the rest of the birds, and adhered it to my card. Perfect.
