This is my second submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the October 2011 issue with the theme of "Halloween".  It didn't make it into the magazine, but is on the private online gallery.

I'm not really a Halloween person, but had fun making this card too.

Since I wanted the designs closer to the bottom and top edges, I ran the folder through my machine with the Iron Gate from the Heritage set, only going half way. Put the folder on the bottom and ran half way through again, making sure to match the vertical lines.

I die cut the largest from the Spellbinders Fleur the Lis set #S4-317 from white cardstock. Colored direct to paper with Distress Frayed Burlap and embossed with sprinkling various embossing powders (Distress Milled Lavender, Vintage Photo & Stampendous Marcasite). Adhered to card.

Stamped the Crow (Quietfire Design "Crows" set of 9) on white cardstock with Versafine Black Onyx and embossed with black embossing powder. Cut out and adhered to card.

Cut out a white rectangle a bit smaller than the inner space on the fleur de Lis piece. Stamped the "you're Invited" with the black using (Perfectly clear Stamps "Whimsy" lower case #SSC0005). Stamped the sentiment (Inkadinkado "Scary Night" #99132) with the black. adhered to die cut piece.

Colored a piece of white cardstock, direct to paper with Distress Pumice Stone, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, then sponging to even out color. Die cut the key and keyhole (Sizzix Tim Holtz "Hardware Findings" #656632) then sponged a bit of Black Soot around the edges. Adhered to card. Added some black Enamel Accents to the holes on the keyhole.
