This is one of my submissions for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the October 2011 issue with the theme of "Halloween".

I'm not really a Halloween person, but had fun making this card. Not sure what to do with it now though...

I cut a piece of 12 x 12 pale lavender cardstock down to a size of 10 x 12, then cut away a 5 x 5" corner. Scored the hanging end at 1/2" intervals to make 3 easel mountains and then left the rest unscored for my quote. Scored the vertical to make a 5 x 7" card.

I die cut the house, bare tree and fence All from Tim's dies and used white cardstock. The fence was painted with Distress Crackle Picket Fence and sponged with Pumice Stone; The house with the Old Paper and sponged with Weathered Wood. Traced around the house to make a solid backing, cut out and colored the window & door areas with colored pencils, then adhered to die cut piece. The tree was direct to paper with Frayed Burlap, Brushed Corduroy and Walnut Stain, then embossed with Distress Vintage Photo & Old Paper.

Punched out the Witch, cat & bat from black cardstock using Martha Stewart punches.

I stamped the moon with Perfect Medium and clear embossed. Used Distress stamp pads, direct to paper on the sky (Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans & Chipped Sapphire, misted with water and dried. Ironed off the embossing on the moon and painted with a white "Snow Cap" Dauber. Stamped the spray of bats with Versafine Black onyx.

Stamped the pumpkins (Inkadinkado) with Perfect Medium and embossed with Stampendous Embossing powders in orange and green. Adhered to my fence.

I adhered my house, fence & tree to the various easel mountains, then adhered the witch with a 3D pop dot to the moon; the bat with 3D pop dots to the tree. The cat directly to the fence.

I stamped the Happy Halloween" with the black.
