This is my submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the June 2011 issue with the theme of "Alcohol Inks".

I started with those little squares made from Shrink Plastic punching them out with my 1.5" EK Success punch. I pounced, streaked and dribbled inks onto the clear side of the Shrink Plastic, punched holes in each corner then zapped it with my heat gun and pressed the top of a Sakura Gel pen box onto the still warm surface (it has a Sakura flower design, which transferred onto my shrunk plastic giving a nice bit of texture). The finished size when shrunk is approx 5/8" square. I cut a piece of white cardstock a touch larger and used gold metallic embroidery thread (2 strands) to sew them together. Set aside.

The rectangular horizontal strip is a piece of 1" w Sookwang tape on white cardstock and sprinkled with Ritz micro fine glitter White, burnished well, and all excess glitter removed. Pounced the alcohol inks (Butterscotch, Watermelon and a touch of Pitch Black) onto it, leaving some white areas. Layered that onto a piece of white cardstock and trimmed to leave a small border all around.

The background layer is done on Yupo (58# cover #FPG200). I used all 3 colors from above in a streak application. Then dribbled Blending solution and wiped off all the ink layer. It stains the Yupo so left a really nice light taupe/pinky toned background. I then put a new felt on and used Butterscotch with a touch of the Black and pounced, allowing it to dry a bit before pouncing again, creating small little combination areas. I then added a touch of the watermelon. Layered this piece onto my main white card, leaving a border all around.

The blue piece is cut with a Spellbinders Reverse Wonky Rectangle, dry embossed, then sponged heavily with Distress colors (Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire), and a bit of Dusty Concord in the corner and edge areas. Dried thoroughly (overnight). Stamped the sentiment with Brilliance Moonlight White and embossed with white embossing powder. Layered the blue piece to the Yupo background and stamped the Queen Ann Lace (Inkadinkado "Meadow" #60-30496) the same way.

Layered the Glitter piece and then the Shrink Plastic squares.
