It's my 2nd submission for the Vamp Stamp Magazine for the May 2012 issue with the theme of "Scraps" and it made it's way onto the front cover.

The sentiment is by Quietfire Design .

Stamp the background (Impression Obsession CAC "Geologic" CC011) with perfect medium on white cardstock and clear emboss. Sponge Distress Forest Moss and a touch of Pine Needles. Cut the horizontal lines for the weaving, following the natural curves of the stamp design, starting about 2" from the left edge and ending about a 1/2" from the right edge. Weave your scraps.

The copper piece is another scrap from a previous project. It's a thin weight from a craft copper sheet embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder "5pce Frills border set". Copper placed in a baggie with paper towel soaked with vinegar and salt and left for a week or so. Rinsed, dried and high points sanded. Adhered to a green base and adhered to woven piece with die cut photo corners (Tim's ATC & corners) from some green scrap.

Flowers punched out (EK Success Retro Flower punch) from various stamped/decorated scraps. Petals formed with a large balled stylus on a piece of fun foam. Each flower is 2 layers adhered together, then adhered to weaving. Adhered extra large rhinestone centers.

Stamped the Thank You onto shrink plastic with Versafine Black onyx, heated to shrink and sewed to woven base. Copper square brads attached to corners of woven piece and then adhered to aqua toned card.
