This entry is for a June 2010 issue with a theme of Monocromatic Mania at Scrap & Stamp magazine.

I started out by rubber stamping a couple  of Fiddleheads (Quietfire Design) onto some white cardstock with Perfect Medium and clear embossing it. Then laying down some Distress stamp pads "Shabby Shutters" and "Pine Needles" on my melt art mat and misting with water, then smooshing my cardstock into it. Drying it, then sprinkling some water to get watermarks. Drying again, then ironing the clear embossing off between clean plain newsprint. Trimmed down to size and mounted to a dark green cardstock and trimmed that. Rubber stamped the fiddleheads again and the word "Fiddleheads" on my decorated cardstock and on a separate section the word "Memories", with the Pine Needles and clear embossing them. Trimmed them down to size, mounted to the dark green cardstock, and trimmed that down.

There was still a large enough piece of decorated cardstock, but with less color on it, which I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, then brayered the Pine Needles on the high points and clear embossed.

Took a piece of regular corrugated cardboard, put a thin layer of white gesso (Palmer Gesso), Let dry, then mixed up a mini mister with the Shabby Shutters, Perfect Pearls "Heirloom Gold" & "Green Patina" and some water and sprayed the corrugated generously. Put it aside to dry.

Then did the assembly on the dark green main card. I used my ruler and hammered flat a small ledge for my satin ribbon to lay relatively flat on the corrugated cardstock. Also used foam tape to raise the 3 rectangular shaped elements. The ribbon goes totally around the card on the inside. I also inserted a green toned stationary paper on the inside for a personal note.
