Rubber Stamp Chat has a challenge for March hosted by Scrollswork to use a sketch with a Spring theme.

So I checked out their rubber and liked a bunch of the images - and yes I ordered a batch. BIG GRIN. Well if you use all their stamps on your card you can get entered into a 2nd draw, as well as get double the prize value on the first draw if you come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

So all stamps are from Scrollworks.

So I stamped the Asian Tree #4516 on white cardstock, using Versafine Toffee and embossing with magnolia. Ran thorugh Cuttlebug with Spellbinder's Labels 8 and embossed, then sponged Distress on background (Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass, Victorian Violet). Colored the open leaves with Tombos.

Die cut the smaller pieces on white cardstock, with the same Labels 8 set, ran through Cuttelbug with the Japanese Scales folder from the Asian Bundle, brayered the high points with the Toffee and embossed with Queen's Gold. Put some  Distress colors on my silicone mat (Spun Sugar, Victorian Violet & Worn Lipstick) misted with water and smeared my pieces through the wet ink. Let dry naturally to get deeper colors in areas.

Rubber stamped the Bamboo #4521 on the corners of the sage green textured cardstock, only inking up part of my stamp with the Toffee and embossing with the gold. Adhered the die cut elements.

Rubber stamped the Sequence Waste #2551 on white cardstock, with Distress Pine Needles and clear embossing it. Inking up my silicone mat with the blues from above, misting and smearing my paper. Drying it, then inking my mat with some greens (Crushed Olive, Pine Needles) misting and smearing my paper again through it. Let dry then cut out the word "Spring" (Sherwood font) with my Cricut and created a shadow from white cardstock. Scanned an Asian character for "Happy Birthday" and cut that also with my Cricut on white cardstock, inked it with Pine Needles and clear embossed it. Then wrote the word Happy Birthday with an Inkssentials white pen.
