So this is the sketch I made for the previous card only to find out I had color limitations as well. So it now fits the challenge of Polka Doodles week 12 which was the sketch below and to use the colors Black & White and 1 other color (I used gold).

It also is good for
Crafty Angels #27 Paper Piecing
Simple Doodles #14 Add some Layers
Corrosive Challenges by Janet #56 Paper Piecing
Paper Sundaes #10 Paper Piecing

and it also fits for Frosted Designs challenge which was to use Transparency. I used both a translucent and a gold vellum.

The card front is a heavy black cardstock. I used a Spellbinder's Oval die on the black cardstock and embossed the oval.

Rubber stamped the pine tree scene (Cornish Heritage Farms #CDD-1075HUM) with Versafine Black Onyx on a heavily textured white Mulberry paper then clear embossed it. Mounted it to the back of the black in the oval window.

Put 2 pieces of a white/gold ribbon and then the patterned black/white ribbon down the middle.

Punched out snowflakes (Martha Stewart "Alpine Snowflake #MS283008"; and Paper Shapers "#PSKD04C Ruby") from a white textured pearlized paper. Added white half pearls in the centers and one more on around the oval.

The sentiment (Quietfire Design) was stamped onto translucent vellum with the Black Onyx and clear embossed. Cut out and the corner rounded with a large corner adorner. Adhered to a piece of the thick mulberry paper.

The ends are punched out and trimmed pieces of gold vellum using a Martha Stewart corner punch from the Punch Around the Page Deco Fan set #42-60001.

I put a piece of the heavy mulberry paper on the floor of the card. Punched a piece of white cardstock with a snowflake border punch (EK Success #PSPB007) and adhered it as a stopper for the card.
