ID: Oct/19 - Easel Waterfall Card Hello - In A Perfect World" card
size: 5"w x 7"H (Card Closed)
Fully extends to 8.75"

Created: October 10, 2019
Modified:

This is an easel card and the waterfall is on the floor as a stopper. I recently came across the Lawn Fawn die set and video instructions. So easy... BIG GRIN

I'm using a die "Warm" and "Hugs" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design

And I'm using rubber stamp sentiment and quote stamps from Quietfire Design ("In A Perfect World" 4pce set);

Cut, scored and folded my pale lavender cardstock to create the easel. Adhered a piece of deep mauve. Dry embossed the Signature Collection "Regal Swirls" onto another piece of the pale lavender, trimmed down and adhered to card front.

Stamped, colored and cut the flower and leaves (Studio Katia "Aloha") and adhered to front.

Die cut the "Warm Hugs" from some scrap purple cardstock, inked with Versamark and embossed with Hot Stuff "Frosted Plum" embossing powder. Adhered to front.

On watercolor paper, applied Color Burst powders from the "Galaxy" set. Love those colors... Drew my letters on practice paper, scanned and saved each letter separately. Using my electronic cutter cut out the letters, trimmed down into squares and adhered to a pale lavender mat and then onto a dark purple base and then onto my waterfall structure.

On the back of each letter either adhered a sentiment/quote using Versafine Clair "Purple Delight" and embossing with the Frosted Plum. Die cutting with a circle/oval or heart die set and sponging with Distress "Wilted Violet". Or Stamping and cutting more of the "Aloha" flowers.

The diagram is the basic structure.

From a basic 12"w cardstock you can place a 3.5"w image by whatever height you want. This one will hold 4 flaps.

Score every 1/2" and fold backwards and front wards to get the cardstock to be supple.

Score those little tabs. They are the only thing holding the waterfall onto your card.

My waterfall is larger so I spliced cardstocks together.
